Bob Tatum grew up in housing and commercial development in Southern
California. He graduated and completed advance studies at UCLA
earning degrees in both engineering and business. While working
for the richest man in the world, he started Westlake Village, a
13000 acre new town near LA. , developed the Princess Hotel chain
in Bermuda, Mexico, Bahamas and San Francisco, started Green
Valley in Las Vegas and Kilauea, Kauai Plantation, Hawaii.
Now on his own, he consulted with a major real estate firm to
correct major problems in AZ, NM, and Colorado development, built
the 850 homes in the Towne of Smithville and partnered with major
builders to develop over 1500 homes in South Jersey. He was
awarded the 1985 "Builder of the Year" by Builder Magazine as well
as receiving other national design awards.
A life-long golf enthusiast, he has lived in Margate and Ocean City
for 28 years. He enjoys reading, travel, architecture and working
out but his passion remains real estate. He works 6 days a week
and looks forward to each new project.
